-What is social media?

 They are used to find and engage in dialogue with potential friends, support causes of all kinds, organize meetings of friends or to publicize congresses and conferences, through which not only details about the meeting are given, but people can confirm their attendance or absence from the event.

The internet was created in 1990, with the idea of the social network emerging. The first network was sixDegrees.com that occurred in 1995, allowing to get in touch with friends, family grouping them according to the relationship they had, this came to have 3.5 million members.

Types of social network:

*Relations:
Almost all of them are focused on this, but some are based on this as they are: Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, etc.

*Entertainment: 
The main goal is not to relate to people, but to consume content, such as YouTube, Pinterest, etc.

*Professional:
This is used to create professional relationships with other users, present their resume and skills, in addition to getting indications, jobs, etc.
Apps like: LinkedIn, Bebee, Bayt, etc.

*Niche:
These are those aimed at a specific audience, people who have a specific interest in common, these apps are such as: TripAdvisor, DeviantArt or Behance, etc.
